Hi there, Jeep owners. Today in your 2022 Jeep Wrangler 4xe, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install Demco's Air Force One supplemental braking system with the Coachlink wireless feedback. Demco's Coachlink will take your braking system to the next level by giving you a wireless receiver inside of your motorhome that's gonna give you real-time feedback of when the brake pedal is being applied from your braking system. With the traditional Demco-style braking systems, you do get a monitor light included that will go on the back side of your mirror on the dash so that way you can see it in your rear view camera. But depending on your motorhome, you might not have a camera at the top or where your camera's pointed for backing up, it just may not be suitable for where the monitor light's located, and maybe the monitor that you have just isn't the clearest monitor. So you may still have to be aimed right at it, just really can't tell that it's coming on. more

So we're here in our motorhome and when we press the brakes here in our motorhome, you'll see the pedal inside the vehicle will apply as well. And it's going to match the amount of pressure that I apply here on the pedal. So if we hit the brakes here, air pressure is now sent to the back to apply the brakes on the vehicle. Now this is available in two different options. You can get the wired version, which gives you an LED indicator light that goes on the towed vehicle and that way you can tell when it's braking, but you can also pick it up with the wireless coach link. And that way you have a monitor system that you can mount on the dash of your RV, and be able to see it, and also hear it with its alarm when you're actually braking and your vehicle's braking. Hello, neighbors. It's Brad here at etrailer. And today, we're taking a look and installing the Roadmaster InvisiBrake proportional braking system for a flat tow setup on a 2021 Jeep Wrangler. The InvisiBrake gets its name from the fact that a lot of it can be hidden once it's installed, and that's accomplished by actually mounting the module box that creates that vacuum underneath the seat. And this should give you plenty of clearance to where it's not gonna cause any issues. It's then run to a cylinder, which runs to a cable and pulley system, which will slow and stop the vehicle when brakes are applied or when your breakaway switch is pulled. more

Hello neighbors. It's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at the Brake Buddy select three proportional breaking system and portable breaking system on a 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. This is what our Brake Buddy looks like when it's installed and you can see it just uses a clamp to clamp out on the brake pedal and attached to that is gonna be an actuating arm. Now pretty easy when the brakes are applied on the RV, it's gonna apply the brakes on the vehicle as well. And that's gonna bring the towed vehicle to a slow or a stop proportional to what you are doing with the RV. It also has a breakaway switch, so in case of an accidental disconnect, it's gonna apply the brakes bringing the vehicle to a stop. more

Hey everybody, how's it going Today we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the Demco Stay-IN-Play supplemental breaking system here on our 2016 Jeep Wrangler unlimited. So what is a supplemental breaking system and what does it do Now, for starters, it is required by law in pretty much every state for vehicles over a certain weight, and it's safe to say here that that Jeep is gonna exceed that weight in every state. Therefore it is gonna be required to successfully flat tow to your vehicle. Now essentially what it does is, it's going take the strain off the brakes in your motorhome, 'cause you're actually gonna be applying the brakes in your vehicle, each time you apply the brakes in the motorhome. So this is not only gonna reduce wear and tear on your motorhome, it's also gonna allow you to come to a much more smooth and effective stop. So you do need to adjust your system before you start out. more

So here you can see the connector that comes with our Brake Buddy Stealth system. This is going to be a proprietary connector, and it's going to have everything integrated into it. Brake Buddy's Stealth has tried to take everything for your flat tone, make it everything that you need, kind of all in one package. And they do an okay job of that, they do hit most of the areas of things that you need, but they made it proprietary, and honestly, it just didn't work as well as I hoped it would in the end. Blue Ox Patriot 3 Radio Frequency Portable Braking System Installation - 2020 Jeep Gladiator- Video
Hey everybody, how's it going Today, we're going to be going over and showing you how to set up the Blue Ox Patriot 3 Supplemental Braking System here on a 2020 Jeep Gladiator. So a supplemental braking system is gonna be one of the many other components required to successfully flat tow your vehicle. Now, supplemental braking systems. It is required in some states, it's not required in others. It's usually based on the weight of your vehicle, as well as local state regulations. It's pretty safe to say though, our Gladiator here is towards the heavier side of towed vehicles, so pretty much every state is gonna require we use one of these supplemental braking systems. more

Hey, everybody! Today we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the Demco Stay-in-Play braking system here on our 2018 Jeep Wrangler unlimited. So nearly every state nowadays requires a towed vehicle. Over a certain amount requires a supplemental braking system. Our Jeep here is going to exceed that weight in pretty much all States. So in order to remain legal while you're towing your vehicle, you're going to need a supplemental braking system. Blue Ox Patriot Proportional Braking System Installation - 2021 Jeep Gladiator- Video
Hey everyone. How's it going Conner, today here at etrailer.com. We're going to be going over and showing you how to install the Blue Ox Patriot II Supplemental Braking System here on our 2021 Jeep Gladiator.So here's what our Patriot Braking System is going to look like installed. As you can see here on the back, we have this nice little adjustable foam pad here that sits and puts pressure on the back of our seat. On the other end there, we're going to have a claw which grabs onto our brake pedal. So once it receives the signal from the motorhome, it's going to depress a little actuator inside, put pressure on the pedal, and the brake pedal, and the brake arm. more
